A six-hour online aromatherapy course split over two weeks with clinical aromatherapist, aromatherapy author and educator Helen Nagle-Smith.
This comprehensive course goes beyond the basics to provide a holistic and scientific understanding of the olfactory system.
We will trace the history and cultural significance of smell, equipping you with a richer vocabulary to describe and appreciate aromas.
The curriculum delves into the anatomy and neuroscience of olfaction and includes the fascinating interplay between smell and other senses. By examining common myths and the latest research, you will gain a deeper, evidence-based understanding of olfaction and how to appreciate and leverage the sense of smell in your professional role.
The course will also provide practical strategies to enhance olfactory awareness for both you and your clients, solidifying your expertise as a modern aromatherapist.
The course is a combination of lecture, research and fun yet practical exercises to elevate your clinical aromatherapy experience. There will be plenty of opportunities for questions and feedback.
Each session will be recorded and made available exclusively to attendees once the course has concluded.
There will also be a short piece of homework to complete.
