Below you can learn more about the CPD aromatherapy and massage tutors who help me to run the CPD courses from our Brighton, Sussex location. All of our courses are IFPA-accredited and are organised by highly qualified tutors with a wealth of experience to share.
Jo trained at the Tisserand Institute in 1996 and has been in private practice since graduating. Her aromatherapy practice from the seed, is based in Brighton.
She taught Essential Oil Therapeutics at The Tisserand Institute for 6 years, is part of the teaching staff for Neal’s Yard Remedies and a Massage Tutor for ITHMA. Jo Has been running IFPA accredited CPD since 2010.
Her main passion is around supporting women through their hormonal journey, from puberty to fertility, through pregnancy and into Menopause.
Jo is a published author, The Little Book of Baby Massage – DK Books and a contributing author in Aromatherapy for Health Professionals 5th Edition and Neal’s Yard Remedies Complete Massage. Jo has lectured around the world on the benefits of aromatherapy and has appeared as an expert on the Chrissy B show talking about using essential oils to support wellbeing.
Alongside her practice she also works as a Consultant for Tisserand Aromatherapy creating new blends and products and contributing to their marketing and social media.
After discovering the benefits of complementary therapies in her early twenties, she initially trained with Gabriel Mojay at ITHMA in 1997 and since then has completed numerous forms of post graduate studies.
Currently based in Cornwall, she’s spent her career as a Holistic Therapist working both in private practice and for charitable organisations that specialise in HIV, AIDS and cancer support.
She completed her PGCE teacher training at Exeter & Greenwich universities and has been teaching complementary therapies since 2001, from beginner to post graduate levels, at various facilities around the UK including ITHMA, Raworth International College of Natural Nutrition and Sports Therapies and Exeter Natural Health Centre.
Jo and Donna met on a CPD training course in the early 2000’s, have been good friends and colleagues ever since. Then in 2017 she became a member of the from the seed teaching team.
Ines is an aromatherapist/wellness practitioner with over 16 years’ experience of working in education related roles and over 12 years’ experience of working within the natural health, wellbeing and natural skincare industry.
As a therapist she is particularly interested in natural healing for women throughout every stage of their lives and has seen first-hand how aromatherapy can help with many symptoms caused by hormonal imbalances. Throughout her career as an aromatherapist, she has supported many women and particularly enjoys seeing the benefits that massage and aromatherapy can bring to pregnant women and women going through the perimenopause/menopause. Ines also has a keen interest in facials and natural skincare and believes that a good skincare routine doesn’t have to be complicated.
Feeling very passionate about educating people about natural health, wellbeing and natural skincare, she worked as the Head of the Education department and tutor for Neal’s Yard Remedies in Covent Garden for 9 years. During this time, she had the honour of supporting many Aromatherapy Diploma students throughout their learning journey and she also wrote, developed and delivered courses and workshops in aromatherapy, massage, natural product making and facials.
She joined the from the seed teaching team in 2022.
Ellen qualified as an Aromatherapist at the Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy (ITHMA) in 2017
She is the founder of AmberLuna Apothecary,
a social enterprise providing accessible wellbeing to the community.
She is a published writer, massage therapist, facialist and aromatherapist with a career of over eleven years in strategic marketing and communications role across businesses, charities and social enterprises of various sizes.
She believes in taking a human, values-led approach to marketing and is a plant lover and medical herbalist-in-training.
She joined the from the seed teaching team in 2023.
