An aromatherapy cpd course with Jo Kellett and Donna Robbins, to develop your skills and knowledge of aromatherapy for pregnancy.
Split over three sessions, online and IRL, the course will help you confidently put into practice, massage & aromatherapy techniques relevant to pregnancy, labour and post natal recovery.
Handouts are provided to back up course material.
All students are required to participate in giving and receiving massage.
You will be required to attend all three sessions to revive your CPD certificate.
Course contents
Session 1 – Online – 6-9pm
- Physical & psychological changes in pregnancy
- Antenatal terminology and information re ante-natal checkups
- Essential oils for pregnancy
Session 2 – Online – 6-9pm
- Labour overview including essential oils to use at this time
- Post natal overview including essential oils to use at this time
Session 3 – Brighton – full day
- Massage and positioning for pregnancy
- Acupressure points for labour
