Presented by Ellen Rowland MIFPA ITHMA
A four hour online aromatherapy CPD course split over two weeks with Ellen Rowland, Marketing and Communications Specialist, Aromatherapist and Herbalist, to develop your understanding of both digital and offline marketing and communications techniques. This course has a specific focus on supporting small, wellbeing-led businesses who would like to understand the fundamentals of content, marketing and communications, including strategy, branding and planning.
This course is designed for wellbeing practitioners who don’t feel confident with marketing or technology and want a clear, supportive introduction without jargon or pressure. It focuses on the basics of marketing and communications for small, wellbeing‑led businesses, including simple ideas around content, planning, branding and strategy.
The sessions offer a friendly, non‑technical space to ask questions, unpack common myths, and make sense of marketing in a way that feels manageable and aligned with your values. The course is not prescriptive and does not promise quick fixes or unrealistic outcomes.
It is not a course that will be prescriptive and tell you how to make £1000’s using “one simple tip”. We will look more strategically and broadly at how to approach marketing and communications rather than it being a step-by-step guide.
We will not be covering detailed platform or software training. Instead, the focus is on building understanding and confidence, with a brief, non‑technical mention of AI and other emerging tools for context only.
There will be time for discussion and individual questions, and supporting handouts are provided.
Each sessions will be recorded and made available exclusively to attendees once the course has concluded.
