Hygge – Essential oils

With the night’s drawing in and the trees bare it’s only natural to feel the need for log fires, woolly jumpers and thick socks! This mood can be reflected in the choice of essential oils that would be beneficial in a massage.
Each oil has its own unique set of properties.  Some are warm and spicy and others uplifting to instil a sense of energy, sometimes lacking as the nights draw in. What is helpful is to embrace the changing season and let it run its course without you fretting!  Adapt your routine so that you get out earlier to make the most of daylight hours, change your diet to reflect the seasonal produce on offer and ask your Aromatherapist to choose some oils that will encourage warmth and energy.

All of the oils listed are safe to use in pregnancy but always refer to a qualified Aromatherapist if you have any doubts.
