HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN ‘HOME FRAGRANCE’ WITH ESSENTIAL OILS
Essential oils are easy to use at home for health benefits and to create an ambience.
There are scented candles, sprays and all sorts of products around to create your ‘home fragrance’, but what about creating your own? It’s easy and fun to do.
You might be trying to create a relaxing atmosphere to help you unwind after a hectic day, you may want to assist your concentration levels if studying. You may even want to use the oils for an immune boost- don’t you just hate summer colds?!
You can either use a candle burner or an electric vaporiser.
A Candle Vaporiser
First add water, then, add 6-8 drops of essential oils IN TOTAL to the water, don’t leave unattended or in reach of toddlers and pets. You can leave this burning for approx. 2 hours but do check to make sure the water doesn’t evaporate.
Electrical Vaporiser
Electrical vaporisers will differ from model to model so take a look to see what is recommended in the instructions provided.
